West Virginia returns to the University of Houston's TDECU Stadium, site of one of the most disturbing losses in Mountaineer football history back in 2023.

The Cougars, then coached by former West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen, surrendered a fourth-down, 50-yard Hudson Clement touchdown reception with just 12 seconds remaining to put WVU ahead 38-35.
