MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's soccer team was slotted No. 25 in this week's edition of the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Top 25 National Poll, as announced on Tuesday.
West Virginia returns to the national poll for the first time since Sept. 6, 2022, after recording an unbeaten start to Big 12 Conference play in 2025. The Mountaineers are 3-0-2 in the league and are riding a nine-match unbeaten streak as WVU has not lost since Aug. 24.
The Mountaineers are one of four Big 12 teams featured in this week's poll.
West Virginia closes its three-game homestand against Houston on Friday, Oct. 10. Kickoff at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown is slated for 7 p.m. ET. It's Fan Appreciation Night, and the first 200 fans will be given a raffle ticket to redeem for an exclusive WVU coffee mug at the conclusion of the game.
