MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team (13–3, 1–3 Big 12) travels to Orlando for a Sunday showdown against the UCF Knights (10–6, 1–4 Big 12). First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 12 at The Venue at UCF.

Sunday's contest marks the fifth all-time meeting between the Mountaineers and the Knights, with the series tied at 2–2 dating back to 1998. Last season, both teams defended their home courts, splitting the series evenly.
The Mountaineers aim to rebound following a 3–1 setback against Cincinnati on October 8.
West Virginia enters the match ranked third in the Big 12 in both hitting percentage (.275) and total blocks (156.0). Junior outside blocker
Nina Horning ranks fifth in the conference with 23 service aces, while junior middle blocker McGath sits fifth in hitting percentage (.371) and sixth in total blocks (70.0).
UCF, led by first-year head coach Matt Botsford, holds a 10–6 overall record and is 1–4 in conference play. The Knights are coming off a home loss to No. 11 TCU on October 9.
