DeVries Named to John R. Wooden Preseason Top 50 Watch List

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University senior guard/forward Tucker DeVries has earned a place on the John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List, announced by The Los Angeles Athletic Club on Thursday.
In addition this season, DeVries has been named to the Julius Erving Award Preseason Watch List and to the Naismith Trophy Watch List.
Last season at Drake, DeVries was the only NCAA Division I men's basketball player to average at least 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He ranked ninth in NCAA Division I in scoring at 21.6 points per game.
