Anthony Wilson Jr. Named Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference has announced defensive back Anthony Wilson Jr. as one of this week's Defensive Players of the Week.

West Virginia's Wilson tallied 11 tackles, including six solo, and an interception returned 79 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's game versus Cincinnati. His pick-six marked the first at WVU since Nov. 19, 2022. His 11 tackles also marked a new season-high for him.
