MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Single-match tickets and the promotional slate for the West Virginia University wrestling team's home duals during the 2024-25 campaign have been announced by the WVU Athletics Marketing and Ticket Offices.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU-GAME, or at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located at the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum. All tickets are general admission.
When purchasing online, tickets are $8 each. At the WVU Coliseum ticket window on game day, tickets will be $10 for adults, $8 for youth and seniors, and $5 for groups of 10 or more. The discounted online pricing will be available until the first bout of the match. Fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance online at WVUGAME.com to avoid lines at the gate.
Tickets for WVU students are free with a valid student ID.
SINGLE-MATCH PROMOTIONS:
Wednesday, Nov. 6 – Glenville State – 7 p.m. – MILITARY APPRECIATION/YOUTH TEAM NIGHT
The matchup with Glenville State will be our Military Appreciation Night, where we will honor military service members prior to the dual. Any military service members in attendance will also get free admission with a valid ID. It also marks Youth Team Night, where youth teams around the area are invited to the matchup. Make sure you fill out our youth wrestling team form to get your team in for free. Additionally, the home opener will be Dollar Night, with tickets and select concessions available for only $1 each.
Wednesday, Jan. 8 – Iowa State – 7 p.m. – TRUE BLUE
All fans are encouraged to wear blue as WVU battles Iowa State in the True-Blue match. This match will also mark the first Weeknight Happy Hour of the season, where fans can get half price beverages from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 12 – Pittsburgh – 1 p.m. – COAL RUSH/MKC DAY
It will be a Coal Rush against Pitt, as all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear your coal rush merchandise to the dual. The first 500 fans will be given a black flying WV rally towel, and all fans will also have a chance to get a stress relief piece of coal when entering the event. This contest also marks the annual Mountaineer Kids Club Day! 2024-25 MKC members will have the chance to meet the Kids Club mascot, Musket, and take pictures with him. What's more, fans are encouraged to stay after the match as there will be post-match team autographs in the concourse.
Saturday, Feb. 1 – Northern Iowa – 7 p.m. – GOLD RUSH/FAMILY DAY
WVU Wrestling will be holding a Gold Rush against Northern Iowa, as all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear gold to the dual. The first 100 fans will be given a West Virginia adjustable wrestling belt.
Sunday, Feb. 23 – Arizona State University – 2 p.m. – GREG JONES DAY/SENIOR DAY
The matchup against Arizona State will be designated as Greg Jones Day. We will hold a pre-match recognition to celebrate Greg Jones, commemorating the 20th anniversary of his third NCAA Division I Wrestling National Championship. Additionally, there will be a poster giveaway in his honor. Furthermore, we will honor our Mountaineer seniors before the final dual of the regular season as well.
