MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The 2022 football season kickoff is quickly approaching and the Neal Brown Show once again will be live from Kegler's Sports Bar & Grille, Morgantown's most popular sports bar and restaurant, this fall.
Starting Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Kegler's, Coach Brown's radio call-in show will air from 6-8 p.m., each week during WVU's football season. The show will take place on Thursdays except the following weeks: Pitt (Aug. 30), Virginia Tech (Sept. 20), Baylor (Oct. 11) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 22).
Hosted by Mountaineer play-by-play voice Tony Caridi, the Neal Brown show will air exclusively on the Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield. For a schedule and a list of the show's affiliates, click on the Neal Brown Show tab on WVUsports.com.
Also returning to Kegler's this season will be the Bob Huggins Show and the first year for women's basketball coach Dawn Plitzuweit's show. Those schedules will be announced at a later date.
"It's hard to believe we are gearing up for another WVU football season already! We're looking forward to hosting the Neal Brown Radio Show once again in our clubhouse," Kegler's Sports Bar & Grille Owner Jerry Lorenze said. "We hope you have a chance to make it out to one of the shows this season, as it is a special experience for Mountaineer fans."
The live broadcasts partnership of the coaches' shows with Kegler's extends through the 2022-23 year with WVU and Learfield, the University's multimedia rights partner.
Kegler's, the premier location for sports in Morgantown, features more than 45 HD TVs, including three 80-inch LED TVs covering Mountaineers and NCAA sports as well as the major professional sports, and a full menu from its award-winning wings to New York Strip, a large selection of appetizers, burgers, salads, wraps, Kegler's specialties, eight beers on tap and 39 bottled beer selections.
