MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Fans interested in purchasing men's basketball season tickets can now place a deposit for the 2022-23 campaign for just $99 through the Mountaineer Ticket Office at WVUGAME.com and 1-800-WVU GAME.
Deposits are for new season ticket orders only as renewing season ticket holders will receive renewal information later this summer.
Coach Bob Huggins, who will be enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September, returns for his 16th season on the Mountaineer sidelines and his 41st season as a head coach. Huggins has reconstructed the West Virginia roster to mix young talent alongside several veteran players with loads of Power 5 experience for the 2022-23 season.
The Mountaineers will have an 18-game home schedule at the WVU Coliseum highlighted by matchups with defending national champion Kansas, and five other 2022 NCAA tournament teams from the Big 12 Conference: Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, TCU and Iowa State.
The nonconference slate is highlighted by the SEC/Big 12 Challenge and matchups with UAB and Navy.
New men's basketball season ticket holders who purchase by the July 29 priority deadline will have the opportunity to select their seat locations during the online Optional Seat Selection Process in September.
WVU faculty/staff members and recent WVU graduates can receive a 20% discount on up to six season tickets. Those patrons can apply the $99 deposit to those discounted rates.
