MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Our Dan Zangrilli caught up with WVU skipper Randy Mazey before tonight's Kansas game in the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City to get his thoughts on Alek Manoah's call-up to the big leagues to pitch Wednesday night's game against the New York Yankees. 
 
Manoah, Toronto's No. 5-rated prospect, has made just nine minor league pitching appearances and only 35 innings of mound work since being taken No. 11 overall in the 2019 Major League Draft.
 
Manoah becomes the third West Virginia University pitcher Mazey has sent to the big leagues, joining Harrison Musgrave and John Means.
