MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia coach Neal Brown discussed the challenges of facing a rejuvenated Kansas football team during his weekly news conference Tuesday afternoon inside the Milan Puskar Center.
The Jayhawks are coming off an impressive 48-24 victory at Boston College last Friday night and sport a 2-1 record heading into Saturday's Big 12 opener with the Mountaineers in Lawrence.
It was Kansas' first road win against a Power 5 opponent since Oct. 4, 2008 when the Jayhawks downed Iowa State, and it's the most points KU scored in a road victory in 23 years.
West Virginia boosted its record to 2-1 with an equally impressive 44-27 win over NC State last Saturday afternoon in Morgantown.
Last year, WVU needed four touchdown passes from Will Grier to pull out a 38-22 triumph over Kansas in Morgantown.
Saturday's game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET and will only be available via live streaming through Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

West Virginia returns to Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday Oct. 5 when Texas comes to town. That game has already been announced a sellout. Tickets still remain for the Mountaineers' remaining three home dates against Iowa State on Oct. 12, against Texas Tech on Nov. 9 and against Oklahoma State on Nov. 23.
