Neal Brown Tuesday News Conference

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia coach Neal Brown hinted that some personnel changes could be in store for his football team this week as it begins preparations for Saturday's game against undefeated NC State.
WVU is coming off a disappointing 38-7 loss at Missouri last Saturday afternoon to even its record to 1-1.
"I think this is our first real test – the first real adversity this football team has had and how do we handle it?" Brown said. "How do we respond? I think this week will be a good indication of where we're at as far as being able to respond to things that don't necessarily go our way.
"Growth occurs in failure and we failed on Saturday so it's time to get better," he added.
Meanwhile, the Wolfpack are bringing a spotless 2-0 record into Milan Puskar Stadium this weekend after blowout home victories over East Carolina and Western Carolina. NC State this year has been roughly 50-50 run-pass, has not committed a turnover and has not allowed its two opponents to score a touchdown – all three impressive traits.
This will be NC State's first appearance in Morgantown since 1979 when it defeated West Virginia 38-14 in the final year of old Mountaineer Field, one season before Don Nehlen took over in 1980.
"You watch them play and you look at their roster two things jump out at me. They've done a great job recruiting and evaluating and they've done a really good job developing guys," Brown said. "They're coming off two nine-win seasons in a row and they've got the second-most wins in the ACC outside of Clemson. That's not talked about much, but last two years second-most wins in the Atlantic Coast Conference."
Tickets still remain for Saturday's game and can be purchased by calling the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME or by logging on to WVUGAME.com.
Saturday's contest will kick off at noon and will be televised nationally on FS1.
