A Visit With WVU Assistant Coach Jahmile Addae
August 15, 2019 10:15 AM | Football
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – We recently visited with West Virginia University assistant coach Jahmile Addae, who discusses the Mountaineer cornerbacks.
Presently, Addae is working with a corners group that includes veterans Keith Washington Jr. and Hakeem Bailey, as well as promising newcomers Nicktroy Fortune, Tae Mayo and junior college transfer Dreshun Miller.
West Virginia has another practice scheduled for this morning ahead of Friday's closed scrimmage under the lights inside Milan Puskar Stadium. Earlier this week, WVU coach Neal Brown termed Friday's scrimmage "the biggest of the year."
Brown said the team will have on-field work Monday and Tuesday and then will have Wednesday off on the first day of the fall semester. Exclusive James Madison prep will begin on Thursday.
Tickets for the 2019 season opener against James Madison at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 31, are still on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME or by logging on to WVUGAME.com.
James Madison is coached by WVU alumnus Curt Cignetti, the son of former West Virginia University coach Frank Cignetti Sr.
