Sills One of Four WVU Players to Sign Rookie Free Agent Deals

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia's 2017 Biletnikoff Award finalist David Sills V has signed a rookie free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills following the conclusion of Saturday's NFL Draft.
The two-time All-Big 12 performer and an AFCA and Walter Camp second team All-American caught 65 passes for 986 yards and 15 touchdowns for the 8-4 Mountaineers in 2018. He was one of the most productive touchdown producers in college football the last two seasons with 33 touchdown grabs, but was not taken in the seven-round, 254-player draft.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Wilmington, Delaware, resident is joining a Bills organization that did not draft a wide receiver in their eight-player draft class this year, although they did take two tight ends.
Meanwhile, Aliquippa safety Dravon Askew-Henry signed with the hometown Pittsburgh Steelers, defensive tackle Kenny Bigelow Jr. inked a rookie free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints and Toyous Avery Jr. signed with the Seattle Seahawks, making it nine players from this year's WVU draft class now affiliated with NFL teams.
Defensive linemen Jabril Robinson and Ezekiel Rose also worked out for pro teams this spring and could sign free agent deals in the coming days as well.
