Mountaineers Close Spring Season Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's soccer team closes its 2019 spring season on Saturday, April 27, with a 2 p.m. match against Maryland at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
Admission is free and open to the public.
"Maryland is a great final game for us to show what we've worked on all spring," Mountaineer associate head coach Marisa Kanela said. "Competition throughout the spring has been fierce, and we want to continue that Saturday. We're looking to further our development as we strive toward our 2019 goals."
The Mountaineers are 1-1-1 this spring, most recently earning a 4-3 win over Virginia on April 14 at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. Trailing 3-1 after 61 minutes, WVU rattled off three unanswered goals, including the game-winner from sophomore forward Lauren Segalla.
The Terrapins went 4-10-5 in 2018, including a 2-7-2 mark in Big Ten Conference play.
Admission is free and open to the public.
