MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - A collegiate wrestler deals with making a certain weight day-in and day-out. Learn how the WVU Nutrition Staff puts the West Virginia University wrestling team on the right track in this week's Climbing the Mountain.
Looking ahead, a Mountaineer quintet will compete at the 2019 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships from March 21-23. Redshirt senior Christian Monserrat, junior Brandon Ngati, redshirt sophomore Matthew Schmitt and redshirt freshman Noah Adams each earned automatic bids based on their performances at the 2019 Big 12 Wrestling Championship last weekend, while sophomore Nick Kiussis received an at-large selection on Tuesday to punch his ticket.
