MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb 22, 2019) — With a six-game home win streak on the line, the West Virginia University women's basketball team welcomes Oklahoma to the WVU Coliseum on Saturday as part of "I Belong" Day in Morgantown. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
Robby Incmikoski and Meg Bulger will call the game on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh.
Dan Zangrilli and
Ayana Dunning will have the radio call for the Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. The game can be found on The Ticket: 95.7 FM/920 AM in the Morgantown and Fairmont areas as well as the WVU GameDay App and WVUSports.com. Affiliates will join the game in progress following the completion of the men's basketball game at Baylor.
WVU will host its second annual "I Belong" Day to celebrate diversity and inclusion at West Virginia University. More than two dozen student and local organizations will host a pregame fair on the Coliseum concourse starting at 2:45 p.m.
Single-game tickets are $5 each and $3 for groups of 10 or more when purchased in advance at WVUGAME.com. At the WVU Coliseum ticket window, tickets will be $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors and $3 for groups. The discounted online pricing will be available until tip-off of the game. Students receive free admission by showing a WVU student ID.
West Virginia and Oklahoma meet for the second time this season and 18th time overall on Saturday. The Mountaineers enter the game with a 9-8 series lead after picking up a win earlier this season.
However, the series is tied at 8-8 in Big 12 play. The first-ever meeting came out of league play in 1988 when WVU defeated OU, 83-65, in Norman, Oklahoma. West Virginia is 5-1 against Oklahoma in Morgantown, with the lone setback coming in overtime last season.
The Mountaineers and the Sooners previously squared off on Jan. 13 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. After leading by as much as 22 points in the first half, West Virginia claimed the 66-55 win. Redshirt junior guard

WVU is coming off its third straight win after downing Oklahoma State, 77-54, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Wednesday. Davenport had a team-high 24 points, marking her 11-straight game in double figures. Martin had 22 points, marking just the second time this season two Mountaineers have dropped 20 points in the same game. Freshman guard
Madisen Smith had 17 points for her third straight game in double figures, while Niblack had a team-high 12 boards. It was her fourth game this season with double-digit rebounds.
The win marked WVU's first win at Gallagher-Iba Arena since 2015 and moved WVU to 10-4 in Big 12 play, marking the program's third season with at least 10 conference wins since joining the league in 2012-13.
Oklahoma enters Saturday's game with a 6-19 overall record and a 2-12 mark in Big 12 action. Most recently, OU fell to Iowa State by a score of 91-70 at home. The Sooners have defeated Texas Tech (Jan. 2) and Kansas (Feb. 13) in league play this year. OU is averaging 71.1 points per game and 38.8 rebounds per contest and is shooting 42.0 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 65.4 percent from the free-throw line.
Four Sooners average in double-figure scoring, led by Ana Llanusa at 16.5 points per game. Taylor Robertson follows at 13.5 points per game, while Shaina Pellington is averaging 13.0 points per game and Madi Williams is putting up 11.9 per game. Williams is also the team's leading rebounder at 8.2 rebounds per game. Tatum Veitenheimer boasts a team-high 45 assists and 34 steals.
Following the game, West Virginia will play back-to-back games in Kansas, starting on Wednesday at Kansas State.
