ATLANTA – The West Virginia University baseball team's weekend schedule at the Atlanta Challenge has been adjusted, with Sunday's game at Georgia Tech moved to Saturday night, and Saturday afternoon's game at Georgia State moved up.
Due to inclement weather expected in the Atlanta area on Sunday, the Mountaineers will play a doubleheader on Saturday. WVU's contest at Georgia State has been moved up to 12 p.m. ET, at the GSU Baseball Complex, while West Virginia will close the day at Georgia Tech at 6 p.m., at Russ Chandler Stadium.
Saturday's game at GSU was originally set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, and the Mountaineers were scheduled to play at Georgia Tech on Sunday. The three-game Atlanta Challenge begins today with an Opening Day contest at Kennesaw State. First pitch at Stillwell Baseball Stadium was at 2:30 p.m., which was moved up 90 minutes due to rain in the forecast.
