
WVU Professional Basketball Update - February

Our February update on former West Virginia University Mountaineers playing professionally in the States and overseas, courtesy of Sports I.T. Solutions and Eurobasket.com:
Jevon Carter (Memphis Grizzlies, NBA)– Had three points, four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals in last night's 122-110 loss to the Chicago Bulls. He is now averaging 2.9 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 25 games for the Grizzlies this season.
Da'Sean Butler (Hapeol Jerusalem, Israel)– Helped his team to a recent 85-83 victory over sixth-rated JDA Dijon by scoring 12 points in just 11 minutes of action. It was his team's ninth straight victory. Da'Sean is averaging 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 14 games so far this season.
Devin Ebanks (Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, France)– Scored 25 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out four assists in 91-80 victory over Olympicue Antibes in the French Jeep ELITE last Friday night, snapping a five-game losing streak. He is averaging 20.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his first season with Champagne.
Gary Browne (Ironi Hai Motors News-Ziona, Israel)– Had an 11-point, 10-assist double-double in a recent 96-80 victory over Alba in the FIBA Europe Cup. He also added dive rebounds in 32 minutes of action. He is averaging 10.3 points, 5.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds with two games remaining until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage.
Teyvon Myers (KFUM Jamtland Basket, Sweden) – Scored 20 points, going nine-for-nine from the free throw line, while adding four assists in a recent 98-84 victory over Swedish Basketligan. His team is current fifth in its division. Myers is averaging 17.4 points, 3.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Devin Williams (Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket, Turkey)– Scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a recent loss to Fenerbahce. Williams is averaging 18.1 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 16 games so far this season.
Elijah Macon (Cub Deportes Espanol de Talca, Chile)– Produced a 23-point, 13-rebound double-double in a recent 91-80 loss to CD Castro in the Chilean Liga Nacional. Macon is averaging 20.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 17 games so far this season.
Juwan Staten (Helsinki Seagulls, Finland)– Led the Seagulls with 22 points and four assists in a recent loss to Tampereen Pyrinto in the Finnish Korisliiga. Staten is averaging 17.6 points, 5.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Alex Ruoff (Helsinki Seagulls, Finland)– Scored 18 and grabbed seven rebounds in a recent loss to Tampereen Pyrinto in the Finnish Korisliiga. Ruoff is averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
John Flowers (La Union, Argentina)– Scored 10 points in a recent loss to Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos in the Argentinian La Liga. Flowers is averaging 15.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 14 games so far this season.
