Former West Virginia quarterback
Will Grier led the South to scores on two possessions and finished the 2019 Senior Bowl completing four of his eight pass attempts for 61 yards Saturday afternoon at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama.
Grier was one of five Mountaineers competing in Saturday's game, won by the North 34-24.
Wide receiver
Gary Jennings Jr. caught a 10-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter from Buffalo quarterback Tyree Jackson and he also nabbed a game-long 54 yard pass to finish with two catches for 64 yards.
David Sills V also crossed the goal line for the South with 14 seconds left on a 15-yard pass from Jackson and had a pair of catches for 28 yards.
Tight end
Trevon Wesco snared three passes for 10 yards while linebacker
David Long Jr. was credited with a pair of tackles, a pass breakup and a fumble recovery.
Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella was named North MVP for his seven-catch, 74-yard, one-touchdown performance while Jackson claimed top honors for the South by completing 13-of-21 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
The five West Virginia players competing in this year's Senior Bowl were the most ever for the Mountaineers.
