MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's soccer team closes its nonconference schedule against Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sunday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m., at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
It's Youth Soccer Day, and fans who wear a youth soccer jersey will earn free admittance. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a WVU jersey koozie, and a free postgame clinic for children ages 13 and under will follow the match.
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance by visiting WVUGAME.com to avoid lines at the gate on game day. When purchasing in advance online, tickets are $5 each and $3 for groups of 10 or more. All tickets are general admission.
At the stadium ticket window, tickets will be $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors and $3 for groups on game day. The discounted online pricing will be available until kickoff of the match.
WVU students are admitted for free with a valid WVU Student I.D.
Due to the Morgantown Marathon on Sept. 16, fans are only permitted to park in the lower Shell/Natatorium lot/Band lot, adjacent to the track, for Sunday's match. This lot will only be accessible off Monongahela Blvd. Parking and access to the upper Coliseum parking lots from the Patteson Drive and Evansdale Drive/Arboretum entrances is prohibited.
The Mountaineers (3-2-3) ride a two-match win streak into Sunday's contest. It's is the first meeting between the teams since WVU earned a 3-1 win over the Red Flash (2-5-2) on Aug. 28, 2016, in Morgantown.
"Saint Francis goes out and plays a really tough schedule," Mountaineer coach
Nikki Izzo-Brown said. "This is going to be a huge game for them, but it's also a huge game for us, too."
Most recently, WVU defeated Boston University, 4-0, on Sept. 13, at Dick Dlesk Stadium. The Mountaineers denied the Terriers a shot for their third shutout of the season, and BU became the eighth team in WVU's 23-year program history to not earn a look.

Stefany Ferrer-vanGinkel tripled her career goal output against BU with her first career brace, scoring the game-winner in the 27th minute and adding a penalty kick in the 58th minute. Forwards

Sh'Nia Gordon tallied their first goals of the season in the 42nd and 54th minutes, respectively.
As of Sept. 14, the Mountaineers rank No. 51 nationally with a 0.692 goals-against average (GAA). Junior
Rylee Foster ranks No. 63 nationally with a 0.719 GAA.

Winless and scoreless in its last four matches, SFU opened the weekend with a 2-0 loss at Duquesne on Sept. 14. The team's last victory was a 3-0 win over Binghamton on Aug. 31.
Junior forward Alyssa McGhee paces SFU with 7 points (2 G, 3 A). Junior Julia Hernan has started eight matches between the posts and shows a 1.07 GAA, allowing eight goals and making 37 saves.
Fifteen-year coach Brenda Van Stralen led SFU to its fourth Northeast Conference title in 2017 and the NCAA Tournament. She is 130-122-41 with the Red Flash.
