
Duo Honored, Foster Up for CONCACAF Award

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Defenders Bianca St. Georges and Jordan Brewster were named to the 2018 TopDrawerSoccer Division I Best XI First Team and Freshman Best XI First Team, respectively.
Additionally, junior Rylee Foster is a finalist for the 2018 CONCACAF Female Goalkeeper of the Year.
St. Georges, a senior, and Brewster helped lead the Mountaineer defense to 12 clean sheets this season. WVU finished with a 0.541 goals-against average (GAA), the second-best mark in the Big 12 Conference and the 11th-best mark nationally.
The 2018 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, St. Georges earned two All-America honors last week, as she was named to the Senior CLASS Award First Team and the United Soccer Coaches Second Team. A member of the 2018 All-Big 12 First Team and a Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy candidate, the two-time team captain also finished second on the team in goals (7) and points (14), both career single-season bests. The St. Felix de Valois, Quebec, native was a perfect five-for-five from the penalty line, the best mark nationally.
A starter in all 23 matches this season, Brewster, native of North Canton, Ohio, was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and the All-Big 12 Freshman Team. She finished the year ranked No. 7 on the team with eight points (2 G, 4 A).
Foster, a 2018 United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team honoree, is one of 11 nominees for the 2018 CONCACAF Female Goalkeeper of the Year. The awards, which began in 2013, recognize players, coaches and referees at all age levels, who have excelled in CONCACAF and FIFA-sanctioned tournaments involving the Confederation's national teams and clubs.

The starting net-minder for the Canadian U-20 Women's National Team, she earned credit for 11 of WVU's 12 shutouts this season, the sixth-best mark nationally, and finished the year ranked No. 2 in the Big 12, No. 14 nationally, with a 0.548 GAA.
A 2018 All-Big 12 First Team honoree and a candidate for the 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy, Foster ranks No. 4 among active NCAA players with 31 career shutouts and No. 6 with a career GAA of 0.550.
