2018-19 Promotional Schedule Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Promotions for the West Virginia University wrestling team's six home duals were announced by the WVU Athletic Marketing Office on Thursday.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU-GAME or at the Mountaineer Ticket Office, located at the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum. All tickets are general admission.
When purchasing online, tickets are $5 each and $3 for groups of 10 or more. At the WVU Coliseum ticket window, tickets will be $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors and $3 for groups. The discounted online pricing will be available until the start of the first bout on match day. Fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance online at WVUGAME.com to avoid lines at the gate.
Tickets for WVU students are free with a valid student I.D.
The Mountaineers unofficially open their home slate on Saturday, Oct. 27, when the team hosts wrestle-offs, inside the Shell Building, at 2 p.m. The event is free to the public.
West Virginia officially kicks off its 2018-19 season against Big 12 foe Northern Colorado on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. ET, and it is the first of two Dollar Nights planned for the year. All tickets and select concessions will be available for $1 each. Additionally, Mountaineer Maniac students in attendance will receive free food and a giveaway item.
The second and final Dollar Night promotion is scheduled for the Virginia Tech match on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m.
Prior to West Virginia's match vs. highly-touted Northern Iowa on Sunday, Nov. 18, the Mountaineers will host a free youth clinic, open to any and all entrants in eighth grade and below. All youth clinic participants will be admitted free to the match, with the match set to begin at 1 p.m. To pre-register, email WVUSportsMarketing@mail.wvu.edu. Additionally, the first 250 youth fans in attendance will receive a free WVU wrestling mask. Autographs also will take place following the match.
Family Day is scheduled for the Oklahoma State match on Friday, Jan. 18. Families can purchase four tickets and receive a $15 concession voucher for $25. Mountaineer Maniac students also in attendance will receive free food and a giveaway item. Additionally, the Mountaineers will sign autographs following the match.
The Mountaineers' annual Cradles for Cancer for breast cancer awareness is set for WVU's contest against Iowa State on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. WVU Medicine will sponsor the match and will collect donations for the WVU Cancer Institute. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and can get the WVU sports official "pink" t-shirt with a donation of $10 or more to WVU Medicine. Autographs also will take place following the match.
West Virginia closes its regular-season home slate against Army on Friday, Feb. 1. It is Senior Day, and WVU will celebrate the careers of Christian Monserrat and Joe Wheeling following the match. It's also Mountaineer Kids Club Day, and fans will have an opportunity to receive the Mountaineers' autographs one last time following the match.
