MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – After playing its last three games on the road, the West Virginia University men's soccer team returns home to host Dayton on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. ET, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.

WVUGAME.com and at the DDSS ticket office. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for youths under 13 and senior citizens and $2 for groups of 10 or more. WVU students are admitted free with a valid WVU Student I.D.
Saturday is Youth Soccer Day, and all youth who wear their youth soccer jersey will receive free admission. Additionally, the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a foam WVU soccer ball. Before the match, members of the men's soccer team and staff will hold a youth clinic, from 5-5:45 p.m.

"Dayton is a good team," WVU coach
Marlon LeBlanc said. "They're coming off a six-goal performance against Oakland (on Wednesday). They're a big team with lots of size, but they can play. (Coach Dennis Currier) has his team certainly catching fire at the right time coming into a big game here in Morgantown."
The Mountaineers (5-1-2) have won two in a row, 3-2 in overtime at George Mason and 3-0 at American, and enter the weekend unbeaten at home. The Flyers (3-4-2) are coming off a 6-2 win against Oakland on Wednesday and are looking for their first win away from home, after starting the season 0-3-1 outside of Dayton, Ohio.
Several Mountaineers continue to rank among the nation's leaders. Senior
Jad Arslan's three game-winning goals rank No. 3 nationally and No. 1 in the Mid-American Conference. He and sophomore
Albert Andres-Llop are second in the MAC with four goals and third with 0.50 goals per game. Andres-Llop is third with 10 total points and 1.25 points per game and Arslan is fifth with nine points. Junior
Jorge Quintanilla ranks No. 2 in the MAC and 20th nationally with four assists, while he also is third in the conference with 0.50 assists per game.
In goal, junior
Stephen Banick is second in the league with a 0.643 goals-against average and 22 total saves. He ranks third in the MAC and 13th nationally with four shutouts and is third with a .815 save percentage and 699:32 minutes played.
SCOUTING DAYTON
Dayton comes to Morgantown with a 3-4-2 record and an 0-3-1 mark away from home. The Flyers are coming off a 6-2 win over Oakland on Wednesday night, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Dennis Currier is in his 13th season as head coach at Dayton. He has led the Flyers to three Atlantic 10 titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances, in 2008 and 2015. He owns a 124-80-39 record at UD and a 312-129-51 career mark in 25 years.
Thor Helgason leads the team with four goals and nine points, while Rok Taneski has a team-best four assists. Alvaro Navarro, who has seven points, leads the team with 25 shots. In goal, Federico Barrios has played all 850:00 minutes with one shutout. He has made 39 saves, good for a .796 save percentage and has allowed 10 goals.
SERIES HISTORY VS. THE FLYERS
Saturday's matchup between WVU and Dayton marks the first meeting in the all-time series. The Mountaineers are already 1-0 against a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, after a 3-2 overtime win at George Mason on Sept. 16. All-time, West Virginia is 44-28-5 against current members of the Atlantic 10.
UP NEXT: BACKYARD BRAWL
The Backyard Brawl resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh. The matchup at Pitt is the first between the two teams since 2011, a 2-0 WVU win in Pittsburgh. The Mountaineers are 33-9-5 all-time against the Panthers and are unbeaten in their last 10 games in the rivalry, dating back to 2001.
LAST TIME OUT: WIN IN DC
Three different players scored goals as West Virginia beat American, 3-0 on Sept. 19, in Washington D.C. The Mountaineers scored twice in less than three minutes in the first half and never looked back.

Albert Andres-Llop netted his fourth of the season, all coming in the last three games.
The defense held the Eagles to eight shots, four on goal, as junior goalkeeper
Stephen Banick made two saves in 65 minutes. Senior
Jose Santos came in with the Mountaineers ahead 3-0, and also had two saves in the final 25 minutes to preserve West Virginia's fifth shutout of the season.
In the final match of a season-long three game roadtrip, WVU had 13 shots, nine on goal. Senior
Jad Arslan, who had an assist, led the team with three shots, while junior
Jorge Quintanilla had a team-best two shots on goal. Andres-Llop led the team with three points, recording a goal and an assist.
