Goldfarb, sports director at WOWK in Charleston, brings his talents from south Florida where he was the studio host and game reporter for FOX Florida.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of the Mountaineer GameDay team, and I can not wait to experience the thrills of West Virginia football first-hand this season," Goldfarb said. "I've always been a huge college football fan, and it is truly an honor to join the great group of people involved in Mountaineer GameDay, bringing WVU football to fans all over the state (and beyond)."
Mazey, sports reporter for WVU Athletics, is in her fourth season with the Mountaineer GameDay crew.
"The excitement surrounding WVU Football is the highest its been since the start of Mountaineer GameDay four years ago, Mazey adds. "I'm thrilled to once again be a part of the team that gets fans excited for each and every game this season."
Former Wheeling-Steubenville news anchor Eric Minor, currently the Director of Student Careers and Opportunities at the WVU Reed College of Media, returns for his second season as a member of the Mountaineer GameDay crew. He handled interviews with WVU President Dr. E. Gordon Gee last year and is thrilled to get back in front of the camera.
"Speaking selfishly, Mountaineer Game Day allows me to maintain a relationship with viewers in the Ohio Valley who were so supportive of my previous career in television and to make new connections with viewers around the state who share a love of our University," Minor said. "I've interviewed thousands of people in my broadcast career, but President E. Gordon Gee is consistently one of the most fascinating. He is utterly committed to the university and its mission, but he also knows how to have a good time. He can be shaping policy one moment and smiling for a 'selfie' with a sophomore the next…and is "all-in" doing both. If you haven't met him yet, you probably will. He's always on the move. I'm grateful be able to catch up with him for a few minutes with him each week."
Mountaineer GameDay will continue its special partnership with the WVU Reed College of Media for season four, which will involve WVU media students working in support roles on the GameDay crew. This real life experience will be valuable to students as they learn and participate during the live Saturday Game Day productions.
Joining the GameDay crew each week on home or away games will be Mountaineer GameDay reporters Geoff Coyle and Anjelica Trinone. Both reporters will bring the viewer closer to Mountaineer football with live reports prior to kickoff.
"Last year's ride through 10 wins gave us the best season of Mountaineer GameDay yet," Coyle added. "I think WVU is set for another year of exceeded expectations and I look forward to bringing our viewers the last word from the sideline before each kickoff this fall."
"This will be my second season with Mountaineer GameDay, and I am excited to get started," Trinone said. "I graduated from WVU in 2013, and it is an amazing opportunity to be covering my alma mater. This is the only show of its kind, and I look forward to bringing you inside information on Dana Holgorsen and the Mountaineers all season long."
Mountaineer GameDay will also feature live and taped segments from other WVU officials including President E. Gordon Gee and Athletic Director, Shane Lyons. Dale "Wolfman" Wolfley joins the team each week, as he breaks down game film on the next WVU opponent from his Wolf's Den.
"Our goal is simple – make Mountaineer GameDay the destination viewing for all WVU fans in Morgantown and across the region by informing each viewer of the latest team news as kickoff approaches each weekend," said Chuck Scatterday, executive producer for West Virginia Illustrated and Mountaineer GameDay show producer.
