Men’s Soccer Tryouts Slated for Wednesday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University men’s soccer team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2017 season on Wednesday, Aug. 16, for WVU students interested in joining the program.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the tryout will be from 9-10 a.m. The tryout will take place at the men’s soccer practice field, directly behind the Basketball Practice Facility. Students must wear shin guards and athletic gear in order to participate.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility.
The following five (5) items listed below must be submitted by each student prior to trying out for any of our WVU athletic teams:
2. Proof of Medical Insurance
3. A copy of a physical conducted within the past six months.
4. Proof of full-time enrollment at WVU Main Campus. (A course schedule from the student’s WVU mix account showing their total number of academic credits.)
Once each item is secured, turn them into the compliance officer during the registration period. If any of these items are missing or not completed prior to the tryout you will not be permitted to try out.
