Gold/Blue Intrasquad Moved to Aug. 13

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s soccer team’s gold/blue intrasquad scrimmage has been moved up two days, to Sunday, August 13, at 7 p.m. ET, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
Admission will be free for all fans to the exhibition contest, which was originally scheduled for August 15.
The intrasquad scrimmage comes six days before WVU will face in-state foe Charleston in an exhibition match on Saturday, Aug. 19, in the only other preseason contest for the Mountaineers this season.
Additionally, WVU’s match at American on Tuesday, September 19 has been moved up to a 3 p.m. ET kickoff in Washington, D.C. The match was originally set to begin at 5 p.m.
The 2017 campaign opens with a pair of matches in California, at Cal on August 25 and at Santa Clara on August 27. The regular-season home opener is set for Friday, September 1, against Wright State at 7 p.m. ET.
