Mountaineers Visit Cádiz, Downtown Seville

SEVILLE, Spain - The West Virginia University men’s soccer team enjoyed a day of recovery and relaxation as the Mountaineers visited Cádiz and downtown Seville on Wednesday.
In the morning, WVU visited the Estadio Ramón de Carranza which is the home of Cádiz CF in the LaLiga Segunda Division. The team toured the facilities and walked on the pitch of the 25,000 seat gold and blue stadium. Cádiz CF chairman Manuel Vizcaino directed the tour.
Afterwards, the Mountaineers took a brief dip in the beaches of Cádiz before proceeding to enjoy Spanish tapas at a local restaurant.
West Virginia visited the city center of Seville on Wednesday afternoon, exploring different areas including a stadium for bull fights, the Cathedral of Seville and other local points of interest in the city.
On Thursday, West Virginia will visit Madrid and the famed Estadio Santiago Bernabéu and other interesting sights in the city.
