WVU to Face Charleston Tuesday Night

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s soccer team is set to face in-state foe Charleston at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. ET.
Admission to the match will be free for all fans.
West Virginia captured its third consecutive victory of the spring season on Saturday, defeating Marshall 3-2. The Mountaineers went into halftime trailing by two goals, but came storming back on the foot of junior Joey Piatczyc, who scored two goals to draw the match even. Junior Steven James put away the game winner for WVU. Entering the second-to-last match of the spring season, the Mountaineers own a 3-0-1 record.
Charleston finished last season with a 19-3-2 record. The Golden Eagles competed in the NCAA Division II National Championship, where they lost in the national title game to Wingate University.
The Mountaineers’ spring slate concludes with the annual Alumni Match on Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m.
