Smith, Moisey Remain in National Rankings

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Redshirt senior Jacob A. Smith and redshirt junior Zeke Moisey of the West Virginia University wrestling team remain ranked inside the top 20 of their respective weight classes, as announced by several publications on Tuesday.
Smith checks in at No. 5 nationally at 197 pounds, moving up one spot in this week's FloWrestling and Intermat Polls. The Charleston, West Virginia, native will make his season debut against Pitt on Saturday.
Moisey comes in at No. 19 in both FloWrestling's and Intermat's latest top-20 poll. The Northampton, Pennsylvania, native returns to the mat this weekend after earning a 2-1 record at the Lindenwood Open on Nov. 18.
West Virginia returns to Morgantown for a dual against Pitt on Saturday, Dec. 9. Prior to the match, the Mountaineers will put on a free youth clinic open to any and all entrants in eighth grade and below. All participants are admitted free, with the match set to begin at 2 p.m. A registration form can be found at WVUsports.com.
