MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's soccer redshirt junior goalkeeper Stephen Banick and sophomore defender Ryan Kellogg have been named to the 2017 Academic All-District 2 Men's Soccer Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Both Banick and Kellogg are being recognized with Academic All-District accolades for the first time in their careers. The Mountaineers have had at least one honoree in each of the last five years.
"Congratulations to Stephen and Ryan on this tremendous honor," WVU coach Marlon LeBlanc said. "They both have had a lot of success on the field and in the classroom, and I am happy to see their commitment to both athletics and academics honored.
