WVU Returns to AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia returns to college football's top 25 this week following last Saturday's 20-16 victory over Iowa State at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The Mountaineers check at No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 released earlier today. West Virginia is one of five Big 12 teams in this week's media poll. The others are No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 8 TCU, No. 12 Oklahoma State and No. 24 Iowa State.

WVU fell just outside the top 25 in this week's coaches poll at No. 26.
The Mountaineers (6-3, 4-2) face Kansas State (5-4, 3-3) this Saturday, Nov. 11, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, in a game that will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
Tickets still remain for West Virginia's final home game of the season against Texas on Saturday, Nov. 18. Those can be purchased by calling the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME or by logging on to WVUGAME.com.
A starting time for the Texas game has yet to be announced.
