WVU No. 25 in Soccer America Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men's soccer team is nationally ranked at No. 25 in this week's Soccer America Top 25.
The Mountaineers (7-4-4, 0-1-2 Mid-American Conference) are ranked in the top-25 for the second consecutive week and for the fifth time this season. Last week, WVU made its return to the national rankings at No. 15 in the Soccer America poll.
Along with its No. 25 national ranking, the Mountaineers are ranked No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches Great Lakes regional poll.
West Virginia hosts Penn tonight, at 7 p.m. ET, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. WVU will then host its second top-25 matchup in the last week when it welcomes No. 9 Akron to Morgantown on Friday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available for both tonight's game against Penn and Friday's regular-season home finale vs. Akron. Tickets can be purchased at WVUGAME.com, 1-800-WVU GAME or on game day at the Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium ticket office.
Tonight is Boy Scouts Night, and all Boy Scouts in attendance will receive discounted admission when wearing their badges. Additionally, as part of Taco Tuesday, walking tacos will be available at the concession stand.
Friday is a Dollar Night, with tickets and select concession items available for just $1. Prior to the contest, West Virginia will honor its senior class of Jad Arslan, Heath Honold, Steven James, Joey Piatczyc, Jose Santos and Louis Thomas.
The Senior Night matchup against the ninth-ranked Zips will be WVU's third home game against a top-25 foe in its last four matches. Akron is ranked in the top-25 in all four major polls, coming in as high as No. 9 in this week's TopDrawerSoccer.com rankings.
