MORGANTOWN, W.VA. - West Virginia looks to snap its nine-game losing streak to ranked teams when it faces 24th-ranked Texas Tech on Homecoming Saturday afternoon at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The Red Raiders, 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12 with wins this year over Eastern Washington, Arizona State, Houston and Kansas, are also seeking to snap West Virginia's three-game jinx over them.
WVU's wins over them have come by scores of 37-34 in 2014, 31-26 in 2015 and 48-17 last season; Texas Tech's last victory, ironically, came here on Homecoming in 2013 when it defeated West Virginia 32-27.
West Virginia, 3-2, 1-1, is looking to get back on track after dropping a 31-24 decision at eighth-ranked TCU last weekend.
