MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University senior defender Kadeisha Buchanan will attend the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Award Banquet on Friday, Jan. 6, at 7:15 p.m. ET, at the Downtown Clubhouse, in St. Louis, Missouri.
One of three finalist for the female honor, college soccer’s version of the Heisman Trophy, Buchanan, also finalist in 2015, will be joined at the ceremony by Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown.

Morgan Andrews of USC and Andi Sullivan of Stanford also are finalist for the award.
The winners and finalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, the highest level of individual achievement in the sport, are determined by a vote of Division I coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The trophy has been awarded to a female collegiate soccer student-athlete each season since 1988, and Cat Reddick (North Carolina, 2003) is the only defender to win the trophy. Penn State’s Raquel Rodriguez won the 2015 award.
