WVU Unveils Special 125 Helmet

Year 125 of West Virginia football kicks off next Saturday, September 3 at noon, when the Mountaineers take on the Missouri Tigers. In honor of the 125-year celebration, the Mountaineers will be wearing the special WVU 125 logo on their helmets along with a uniform combo worn by WVU teams of the 60s. White helmets, gold jerseys and white pants will be the combo for the opener.

It’s a Gold Rush vs. the SEC opponent and tickets are still available online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. And don’t forget to check out the snazzy logo on the white helmets as year 125 gets underway.
