Mountaineer football season is less than two weeks away! West Virginia opens 2016 with Missouri at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The Sept. 3 matchup between the Mountaineers and Tigers will kick off at noon ET. The game is designated a Gold Rush, presented by the West Virginia Lottery. All fans are encouraged to wear gold.

In honor of the start of the 125th year of WVU football, Coca-Cola will provide 60,000 WVU125 gold shakers to Mountaineer fans at the game.

The game will mark the first time WVU has faced an SEC team in a home opener in 54 years. The last SEC opponent to visit Milan Puskar Stadium was LSU in 2011.
