Saturday’s Game Moved to Doubleheader Sunday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Due to snow in the Morgantown area on Saturday, the West Virginia University baseball team will now play a doubleheader against Furman on Sunday, April 10 at Monongalia County Ballpark. No game will be played today, Saturday.
First pitch of game one on Sunday is set for 11 a.m. ET, with game two beginning 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Sunday will be a single-admission doubleheader, and tickets for both Saturday and Sunday’s games will be good for admission.
Fans with tickets to today’s game can exchange their ticket for a future WVU baseball game at the box office at Monongalia County Ballpark.
Additionally, Saturday’s Military Appreciation Day will take place on Sunday. Those who present a valid Military or First Responder I.D. will receive $2 off their tickets when purchased at the ballpark.
Tickets are also still available for Sunday’s contest. For fans unable to cheer on the Mountaineers in person, there are several ways to tune in live. A live video stream and live stats can be found at WVUSports.com. Jeff Culhane and Ernie Galusky will call the action on the Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG on various affiliates throughout the state. Following Sunday’s doubleheader, the Backyard Brawl resumes on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. when WVU hosts Pitt at Monongalia County Ballpark. It will be the 191st meeting between the two teams, marking the most games played among any WVU opponent. The Mountaineers are an even 3-3 against the Panthers since 2013.
