The Greenbrier Site of Today's Gold-Blue Game

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. - The Greenbrier Resort is the site for today’s Gold-Blue Spring Game, the net proceeds of which benefit WVU Medicine Children’s.
The scrimmage will feature West Virginia’s offense (Gold) against the defense (Blue) at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center, which also serves as the training camp site for the New Orleans Saints.
Quarters will be 10 minutes in length and the game clock will run continuously during the second half. The game will feature standard scoring for the offense and the defense will be awarded points based on touchdowns (6), three-and-out possessions (5), drive stops (3), fumble recoveries (3), interceptions (3) and safeties (2).
The Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG’s radio coverage with veteran play-by-play man Tony Caridi, analyst Dwight Wallace and sideline reporter Jed Drenning will begin at 11:30 a.m. on stations throughout West Virginia and online via leanStream and the mobile app TuneIn.
Kickoff is slated for noon.
The forecast for today is calling for partly cloudy skies and temperatures approaching 70 degrees.
