Paige Scores 15 in West Win

HOUSTON, Texas – Joel Bolomboy from Weber State had a double-double as he registered 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds to Earn Reese’s Perfect Player honors from the West leading the West All-Stars to an 89-85 win over the East All-Stars in the Reese’s College All-Star Game at NRG Stadium.
David Walker from Northeastern was named the East’s Reese’s Perfect Player as he finished with 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting and a game-high four blocks.
Neither team led by more than six in the first half, a half which featured eight lead changes.

Anthony Gill from Virginia capped a 9-2 run for the East with a dunk to tie the game 78-78 with 3:37 left.
Paige’s hoop with 3:08 left gave the West the lead for good 80-78. Thomas Walkup from Stephen F. Austin pushed the lead to 85-80 on a basket with 1:40 remaining.
The East’s Trey Lewis from Louisville knocked down a 3-pointer with 10.3 seconds left to make the score 87-85 before Trey Freeman from Old Dominion made a pair of free throws with 3.5 seconds left to put the game away.
Paige (15), Ron Baker from Wichita State (14), Walkup (12), Egidiju Mockevicius from Evansville (12) and Jalen Jones from Texas A&M (10) all scored in double figures for the West.
Lewis finished with a team-high tying 17 points while Gill added 15 points for the East. Shevon Thompson from George Mason had a team-high eight rebounds for the East.
