Football Award Winners for the Iowa State Game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performances in the Mountaineers 49-19 win against Iowa State at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Offensive Champion – Adam Pankey; Defensive Champion – Darrien Howard; Special Teams Champion – Shane Commodore; Offensive Scout Champion – Steven Smothers; Defensive Scout Champion – Jonah Campbell.

The No. 14/13 Mountaineers play host to Baylor on Saturday, December 3, at 3:30 p.m., ET. The game will be televised on FS1.

The Mountaineers’ matchup with the Bears, presented by Dan Ryan Builders, with be the final home game for 21 Mountaineer seniors. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the senior class in the final home game of their career.
