Auction Begins Ahead of Baseball Leadoff Dinner

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Bidding is now open for silent auction items in conjunction with the West Virginia University baseball team’s annual Leadoff Dinner, presented by Lumos Networks and featuring guest speaker Pete Rose, this Saturday, Jan. 30.
To view the auction items and start bidding from your mobile device, text BASEBALL to 71760. Fans can participate in the auction online, even if they are not attending the Leadoff Dinner. Bidding through the mobile auction will conclude during the banquet on Saturday evening.
The silent auction features more than 70 items, including a trip to Hawaii with the team, dinner with coach Randy Mazey and the WVU coaching staff, the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a WVU game this season, autographed memorabilia and WVU football field passes. Several Pete Rose items and exclusive vacation opportunities also are part of the silent auction.
Bidding also can be done at the banquet. Representatives from the Mountaineer Athletic Club will be available to assist with the mobile bidding at the banquet, and are available to answer any questions in advance at 800-433-2072.

Deals: View items that have little or no bidding action to find the best available deals.
Donate: Pledge a donation to directly support Friends of Mountaineer Baseball from the “Donate” tab. You will be invoiced for your donation and may pay by check or credit card.
