Ouendeno Joins Women's Soccer

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women’s soccer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown announced today that defender Dalanda Ouendeno will join the Mountaineers for the 2015 season.
A freshman from Paris, France, Ouendeno is available to compete immediately.
“This is an exciting time for our program. With Dalanda’s addition, our 2015 recruiting class is now complete,” said Izzo-Brown. “Dalanda will bring loads of experience with her from France to West Virginia. She is a seasoned defender and has benefited from playing with a high-level club in France. I know she’s ready to help this team succeed this season.”
Ouendeno is a six-year member of the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) women’s club team. She previously played for Arnouville Football Club (ASAF) from 2004-09. She won the 2014 IberCup Portugal and the 2014 Gothia Youth World Cup. Additionally, she is a five-time Isle of France champion.
Ouendeno graduated from Catherine Labouré Secondary School. The daughter of Bintou and Faya, she will enroll in general studies.
