White was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Bears in the 2015 NFL Draft. White signed his contract in May, but suffered a setback in August. White began the regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to a surgery needed to repair a stress fracture in his shin. The Bears started White’s 21-day practice window on Nov. 24 and will make a decision on his status on Dec. 15.
