Alford joins former Mountaineers Will Clarke and Adam Jones on the Cincinnati roster. The 5-foot-9 wide receiver was drafted in the seventh round by the Bengals this spring. He has been inactive for the Bengal’s first 11 games this season. The Bengals defeated the Rams, 31-7, at home last week. They will travel to Cleveland on Sunday.

Tavon Austin had four carries for 63 yards and the Rams’ lone touchdown in a 31-7 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. He averaged 15.8 yards per carry, including a 25-yard rush and also had six receptions for a total of 33 yards. On special teams, Austin had a pair of punt returns for nine yards. St. Louis will host Arizona on Sunday.
