Alford joins former Mountaineers Will Clarke and Adam Jones on the Cincinnati roster. The 5-foot-9 wide receiver was drafted in the seventh round by the Bengals this spring. He has been inactive for the Bengal’s first eight games this season. Cincinnati had a bye week before hosting Houston on Monday, Nov. 16.
Tavon Austin rushed the ball eight times for 66 yards and caught four passes for 15 yards in St. Louis’ 21-18 setback at Minnesota. Austin also returned four punts for an average of 6.8 yards per return. St. Louis, which sits in second place in the NFC West, hosts Chicago on Sunday afternoon.

McAfee punted five times for an average of 45.2 yards in the Colts’ 27-24 win over Denver. McAfee’s average of 48.6 yards per punt is currently the best in his seven-year career. Indianapolis enters the bye week before visiting Atlanta on Nov. 22.

White was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Bears in the 2015 NFL Draft. White signed his contract in May, but suffered a setback in August. White began the regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to a surgery needed to repair a stress fracture in his shin. The Bears have until Week 11 to activate White. If he is not activated by then, he will not play this season.
