No. 2 WVU Outright Big 12 Champion

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A 1-1 draw between Baylor and TCU tonight clinched the No. 1-overall seed at the 2015 Big 12 Soccer Championship for the No. 2-ranked West Virginia University women’s soccer team and outright possession of the conference’s regular-season title.

The Mountaineers (15-1-1, 6-0-1) secured their fourth straight Big 12 Conference regular-season title on Oct. 23 with a 2-1 overtime win at Oklahoma State. WVU has won six Big 12 titles in four seasons, nine regular-season conference titles since 2002 and 14 combined conference regular-season and championship titles.

WVU closes its 2015 regular-season schedule against the Bears this Friday, Oct. 30, with first kick from Betty Lou Mays Field set for 8 p.m. ET. The 2015 Big 12 Soccer Championship bracket will be released later that evening.
