Heather Greer joined the West Virginia University athletic training staff in June 2024 and tends to the athletic training needs of the women’s soccer program.
Her responsibilities include day-to-day care, rehabilitation and injury prevention for the Mountaineers.
She came to WVU from the University of South Florida where she oversaw the athletic training needs of the women’s soccer program.
Her professional experience also includes a two-year stint working at Seattle Pacific University where she worked with women’s soccer and women’s basketball and at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she served as a student assistant athletic trainer.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2016 and her master’s degree in athletic training in 2021, both from Grand View University.
Greer, who has now lived in eight different states, is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
She resides in Morgantown.
