Heather Greer joined the West Virginia University athletic training staff in June 2024 and tends to the athletic training needs of the women’s soccer program.

Her responsibilities include day-to-day care, rehabilitation and injury prevention for the Mountaineers.Â
Â
She came to WVU from the University of South Florida where she oversaw the athletic training needs of the women’s soccer program.Â
Â
Her professional experience also includes a two-year stint working at Seattle Pacific University where she worked with women’s soccer and women’s basketball and at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she served as a student assistant athletic trainer.
Â
She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2016 and her master’s degree in athletic training in 2021, both from Grand View University.
Â
Greer, who has now lived in eight different states, is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
She resides in Morgantown.
