Devin Kane joined the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in July 2021 and now serves as associate director of social strategy.

In her current role, she manages West Virginia University’s social media accounts and is responsible for content creation and development for women’s soccer, baseball and gymnastics.

Previously, Kane handled Mountaineer Sports Properties’ social media platforms for Learfield IMG College. Her responsibilities included meeting with corporate clients to identify sponsorship opportunities and tracking and reporting analytical data.

Kane’s professional experiences in collegiate athletics also include communication internship stints with University of Missouri (2016-20) and USA Softball (2019), and volunteer work for the NCAA Women’s College World Series and the NCAA Wrestling championships in 2017-18.

The Edwardsville, Illinois, native earned her bachelor’s degree in strategic communications with a minor in business from Missouri in 2020.

She resides in Morgantown.
