• Made seven appearances and earned a 1-0 record
• Recorded an ERA of 3.68 in 14.2 innings pitched while allowing six runs on 10 hits with 15 strikeouts
• Struck out a career-high-tying five batters in 3.1 scoreless innings at the Big 12 Championship semifinal against Oklahoma State on May 27, giving up just one hit
• Allowed one hit in 1.1 shutout innings with a strikeout and no walks on May 25, vs. Oklahoma State at the Big 12 Championship
• Pitched 1.1 scoreless innings on May 21 at Texas, giving up one hit with no walks and a strikeout
• Picked up the win with 3.0 no-hit innings on May 2 vs. Eastern Michigan, striking out two
• Did not allow a hit in 1.1 scoreless innings on March 4 at Tulane

2016 (Sophomore)

• Appeared in eight games
• Pitched 4.1 innings with a 6.23 ERA, striking out six and allowing three runs on one hit
• Held the opposition hitless in seven of eight outings and did not allow a run in six games
• Struck out two and did not allow a baserunner in 1.0 innings on May 15 against William & Mary
• In a scoreless inning at No. 7 TCU, allowed just one hit

2015 (Freshman)

• Appeared in 15 games and made six starts, posting a 1-3 record
• Had an ERA of 6.15 with 23 earned runs in 33.2 innings, while allowing 36 hits with 18 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .275 batting average
• In 11 relief appearances, held the opponent to one earned run or less in all but two appearances and did not allow an earned run five times
• Struck out a career-best five batters in 3.0 innings against Marshall on April 21
• Earned the win with 2.2 innings of relief work against Texas on March 14, striking out two while allowing no runs on no hits

High School

• Four-year starter for coach Chad VanMeter at Hampshire High, helping team to a conference championship in 2013 and setting the record for most wins in a season (25)
• Went 2-2 with a 1.14 earned-run average in 13 games and five starts in 2014, striking out 91 batters in 49.1 innings pitched with an opponent batting average of .125
• Finished 2013 with a 2-3 record in 14 games and four starts, striking out 68 in 40 innings with an opponent batting average of .169
• Two-time West Virginia AAA All-State First Team (2013-14)
• Coached by his father with Post 91
