2020 (Sophomore)

• Academic All-Big 12 First Team
• WVU Student-Athlete of the Week (Feb. 24)
• Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Player of the Week (Feb. 24)
• Finished 2-1 with a 2.92 ERA in 24.2 innings pitched (second-most on team)
• Stuck out 30 batters, while only allowing 14 hits and eight earned runs
• Strikeout total was a team best and good for No. 7 in the Big 12
• Made his season debut on Feb. 15, at Jacksonville, allowing one run on four hits in six innings
• Struck out a career-best 14 batters on Feb. 22, against Saint Joseph’s; allowing just one run on two hits for his first victory of the year
• Grabbed his second win with a 5.2-inning performance at William & Mary on Feb. 29
• Tallied six strikeouts on 95 pitches against the Tribe
• Allowed two runs in five innings of work at Mercer on March 7

2019 (Freshman)

• All-Big 12 Tournament Team
• Academic All-Rookie Team
• Worked 34.0 innings in 17 appearances, earning 38 strikeouts, an ERA of 1.85 and 2-0 record
• Didn’t allow a run in his final 10 appearances of the season, good for 19.1 innings pitched
• Made his Mountaineer debut at Georgia State on Feb. 16, working three shutout innings in relief
• Earned the win against Kent State on March 10 after striking out a pair in two innings of work
• Allowed just two hits in 2.2 innings against Oklahoma on March 31, tallying three strikeouts and no runs
• Finished with four strikeouts and no walks while allowing just one hit in his first career start against Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship Semifinal; picked up his second win of the campaign
• Also started WVU’s NCAA Tournament contest against Texas A&M on June 2, finishing with three strikeouts in three scoreless innings

High School

• Attended GlenOak High and pitched for coach Ray Frisbee
• Named a Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American and earned First Team All-Federal League and first team all-district accolades in 2018
• Earned all-district second team honors in 2017 and all-district honorable mention in 2016
• Ranked No. 13 among right-handed pitchers and No. 30 overall in Ohio by Perfect Game
• Member of the No. 26-ranked 2018 WVU recruiting class, the highest-rated class in program history at the time
• Also played high school basketball
